Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) Signing with Kwanza-Sul Provincial Government Office of the Republic of Angola

On 30 November 2012, Real Kaiten Consultancy & Investments (RKCI) signed a landmark Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Kwanza-Sul Provincial Government Office of the Republic of Angola, for the development of an Eco-township, dubbed “Project Ark”.

This signing forged ahead the establishment of a Public-Private Partnership between RKCI, who will be the Developer of the Project, and the Government of Angola, the end owner of the same. Such partnership follows the proposal of an expanded township design over a big plot of land, compatible with a socio-economic master plan designed to achieve self-sufficiency and future sustainability.

This socio-economic plan is based on a mixed development that integrates social residences, community and recreational areas, commercial and industrial zones, forming the ideal conditions to generate numerous job opportunities, to attract investors and draw Angolans to Porto Amboim. The township aspires to be the reference to “live, work and play” in Angola.

On this same occasion, RKCI also celebrated a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Nanyang Environment & Water Research Institute (NEWRI). The collaboration is significant in bringing to Project Ark leading water and environmental technologies and innovation driven by education and research from Singapore.
